In August 2006, Flo participated in the International Voice
Care Symposium
which was held at the Banff Centre. Among
the roster of voice care and vocal specialists, coaches, educators
and medical professionals, Flo had the opportunity to further advance
her own knowledge, proficiency and skills from numerous renowned
individuals including Seth Riggs, Lisa Popeil, Dr. Jacob Lieberman,
Sara Harris, Jesai Jahymes, Dr. Ingo Titze and Bram Morrison
. Most
recently, Flo has been in contact with Elaine Overholt, received advanced
educational information packages and is planning to be in Toronto for
the International Association for Jazz Education Annual Conference
to be held in Toronto in January 2008.

Updated information, techniques and highlights are
constantly shared with Flo's students in her sessions. Of note,
during the past year alone, one of Flo's students recently placed in
the finals of Calgary High School Idol, one teen achieved gold status in
her CanDance and Champions performing arts competitions, an adult
landed a role in a major community production (see photo of Jeni Pope
above), several children and youth auditioned for the Stampede Youth
Talent Showcase
, teens excelled in their High School Choral and Jazz
programs, several adults placed in the finals of Ceili's Icon, children and
tweens achieved significant roles in their elementary and middle school stage
productions, teens in Canmore Collegiate achieved winning status in talent
showcases, all have been motivated, encouraged and supported to pursue
summer and adjunctive musical and/or theatre programs and to continue to
audition and seek creative experiences and outlets. Those who had never
auditioned before nor had the courage to perform finally found the
confidence to do so, whether trying their voices at karaoke, singing for
their parents' anniversary or at their own wedding reception or auditioning
for adult recreational community choirs or their own school choirs.

Experience the educational, inspirational, innovative, supportive,
fun and functional approach to singing and vocal enhancement!
Learn and sing in a bright, spacious environment that is private.
Weekly and weekend sessions available, short-term or longer-term.
